ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Delhi (By Flight)
Arrive at International airport, our representative will meet on arrival and after traditional welcome would assist you & transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Delhi is the capital city of India and is regarded as the heart of the nation. The city is popular for its enriched culture and heritage. The influence of religious diversity can be seen in the city along with the cultural impact of the Mughal, the ancient Indian and the British.
Day 2: Delhi (Sightseeing of Old Delhi & New Delhi)
After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. The capital city is divided into two sections popularly known as Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi is popular for its ancient culture and monuments along with its overcrowded gastronomically lanes. Sightseeing tour of Old Delhi includes Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Rajghat. The remarkable Indian Capital was architecturally designed by the British architect Edwin Lutyens and was named after him. Enriched with history and culture, the impressive avenues and imperial buildings. Sightseeing of New Delhi includes Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and drive through Rajpath, Parliament House, The President's residence & Diplomatic Enclave. Visit the magnificent Lotus temple at the sunset are some of the major attractions of New Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur (265 Kilometres / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, the largest city and the capital of Rajasthan, is also referred to as Pink City. Built by Sawai Jai Singh, this place was India's first planned city. With spectacular hilltops and stunning fortresses. On arrival, check-in at hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur (Sightseeing of Jaipur City)
After breakfast excursion to Amer Fort. Enjoy an intrepid Elephant ride ascent to the fort which displays a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu panache. It is an old fort, built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. Afterwards, move towards the City Palace where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace also includes the famous 'Chandra Mahal' and 'Mubarak Mahal', and other buildings which form a part of the palace complex. In the end, visit Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, which again symbolise the classic Rajasthani architecture. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (235 Kilometres / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Agra and on the way visit to Fatehpur Sikri, fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar the great. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Fatehpur Sikri Mosque is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture. Also visit Diwan-E-Aam, Diwan -E-Khas, Panchh Mahal, Buland Darwaza & Tomb of Saint Salim Chisti. Later continue drive to Agra, has a rich historical background, which is amply evident from the numerous historical monuments in and around the city. Agra came to its own when Shahjahan ascended to the throne of Mughal Empire. He marked the zenith of Mughal architecture, when he built the Taj in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. On arrival check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 6: Agra - Delhi (210 Kilometres / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast proceed for day sightseeing of Agra city. Visit the legendary edifice, Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday). The construction of this marble masterpiece is credited to the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who erected this mausoleum in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in A.D. 1630. The construction of Taj Mahal was started in A.D. 1632 and completed at the end of 1648 A.D.which. Apart from Taj Mahal, there is one another perfect monument, which is the Agra Fort, built by Akbar in Red Sandstone. Agra Fort worked both as a military strategic point as well as the royal residence. Ensconced within, is the magnificent Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. After Agra Fort, visit BABY TAJ - The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj. Now, drive back to Delhi, en-route visit the Sikandra - Mughal Emperor Akbar’s Mausoleum. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 7: Delhi – Onward destination
Transfer to the International airport in Delhi towards your onward journey.
