ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad
Arrive Ahmedabad, meet with our representative after warm welcome you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 2: Ahmedabad
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave to visit the Calico Museum- primary textile museum of India, showcasing amazing artworks; Swaminarayan Temple- oldest temple of Swaminarayan. Thereafter, we will proceed to Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar), a temple a dedicated to Swaminarayan, with brilliant architecture and Adalaj Stepwell, dating back to the 15th century. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad
Day 3: Ahmedabad – Dasada
After breakfast in the morning, we will leave for Dasada. On the way visit to Modhera & Patan. Modhera- mainly famous for ancient Sun Temple, dedicated to Hindu’s Sun God; and Patan- dotted with temples, mosques and other structures dating back to the era bygone. On arrival in Dasada, check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, excursion to little Rann of Kutch in jeeps. Rann of Kutch is a salt marsh located in the Thar Desert. This is the largest salt desert of the world. Overnight stay in Dasada.
Day 4: Dasada – Bhuj
In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Bhuj. En-route, we will stop to get the permit for visiting Banny Village. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit to Pragmahal Palace, Aina Mahal, Bhujio Hill and Hamirsar Lake. Overnight stay in Bhuj
Day 5: Bhuj
After refreshing breakfast, excursion to Banny Villages. These villages showcases and have adapted the Gujarati culture as a significant part of themselves. Return to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Bhuj.
Day 6: Bhuj – Rajkot
In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Rajkot. On the way we will stop at Morbi and Wankaner- both influenced and ornamented with European architecture and culture. Continue drive to Rajkot and on arrival check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will proceed to visit Rotary Doll Museum. Overnight stay in Rajkot.
Day 7: Rajkot – Sasangir
In the morning after breakfast, leave for Sasangir. On the way, we will stop at Shri Jalaram Bappa temple and Junagarh to visit Uparkot Fort, built by Chandra Gupt Maurya, dating back to 319 BC and Mahaprabhuji’s Baithak. Thereafter, continue drive to Sasangir. On arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Sasangir.
Day 8: Sasangir – Somnath – Diu
After breakfast, we will leave for wildlife Safari in Sasangir National Park which is the only home of Asiatic lions and covers an area of 1412 km sq. In the afternoon, drive towards Diu and on the way visit to Somnath Temple, this is the first Shiva’s Joyotirlings out of the ten. Diu is a historical part of Saurashtra region, which makes it a significant place to visit. On arrival in Diu check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Diu.
Day 9: Diu
In the morning after breakfast, you are free for independent activities and to explore Diu Overnight stay in Diu.
Day 10: Diu – Bhavnagar
Early in the morning you can enjoy sunrise at the beach. Thereafter, return to the hotel for breakfast and then leave for Bhavnagar. On reaching Bhavnagar, check in to hotel. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 11: Bhavnagar – Palitana – Vadodara
After early morning breakfast, we will drive to Vadodara. En-route, we will stopover at Palitana. In Palitana, we will visit Shatrunjaya Temple and later continue drive to Baroda. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Vadodara.
Day 12: Vadodara
After breakfast, start city tour includes Sayaji Bag, Nazarbaug Palace, Kirti Stambh and/ or Baroda Museum. Later, we will drive to Champaner- a historical village embellished with ancient forts, minars, mosques and other things. Following Champaner is the visit to Chotta Udaipur. Overnight stay in Vadodara.
Day 13: Vadodara – Mumbai Departure
Today after breakfast, we will leave for Vadodara airport to board flight to Mumbai. On arrival you will be in transit to board flight for your onward destination.
